Chinese New Year Celebration
The use of dragons in Chinese New Year’s celebrations have become tradition around the globe. Signifying good luck, long life and wisdom, these dragons are used in dances at festivities to celebrate the New Year. They are supposed to scare away evil spirits for the upcoming year. The Chinese New Year, the most celebrated Chinese holiday on the Chinese calendar, lasts for 15 days and is ended with the Lantern Festival, the night of the first full moon of the lunar New Year.
