Below is the show vs tell for my interview with Anthropology Professor Douglas Raybeck:
Decked in his black baseball cap with the word “Posse” written across the front in white lettering, a reference to his favorite nonprofit organization, and his black leather vest, Professor Douglas Raybeck stood at the front of the lecture hall in Thompson Hall. He looked up at more than one hundred students. An overbearing sight, this was the first time that the man who has taught anthropology for more than forty years had ever taught a class this big. Much different than the 18-20 students he was used to teaching throughout his career. “Five. Four. Three. Two. One.” These five numbers were counted down as the clock above his right shoulder struck 9:30 a.m. The lights turned off and the voices ceased. Raybeck had the floor.
